Editorial: STARTING THE YEAR OFF RIGHT
February 21, 2020
BY CAYLA REEVES
This year so far has been very important already. There have been many environmental occurrences that we thought were critical to cover.
One of our big articles is about the impact of the Australia wildfires. As the journalism team of our school, we thought it was important to spread awareness to students and staff, to help keep the conversations talking about issues that not only mattered to us, but should still matter as we move further into 2020.
It's so easy to get involved in our own worlds and ignore so much of what is happening all around us and how to help. Along with articles, there are also graphics, to help our readers visualize what a lot of what's been going on mean more clearly.
Be sure to check out the section on global warming. We truly believe it is necessary to share these important situations, because it's our future and we have to save it.
We want to spread awareness of what is happening to our world. We don’t have a Plan B.
Situations that matter to our own health and lives, right here in our area, are also part of the latest news we have to share. Be sure to check out these important portions found throughout The Knightly News, by clicking on the tabs at the top of every section.
Then, as our Royals are going through Spring Training, let's never forget about our very own Kansas City Chiefs' recent victory that took 50 years to achieve This and a ton more are here for you to read, to discuss, to think about and to learn.
We hope you enjoy these latest articles of The Knightly News.
